Some religious sections teach that in order to be saved you must first be baptized, or accomplish some other work. Some even even go as far as to say things like “you have to come up out of the water speaking in tongues” in order to be saved. What does the Bible say we must do to be saved?
Josh Tompkins Pastor Tompkins is originally from Pound, VA and a graduate of Pound High School. He graduated from UVa-Wise gaining a B. A. in political science and education in 2004, Liberty Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Arts in Religion in 2011, and The Master’s Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2020.
